The D.C. Council has scheduled a public hearing on the Mayor’s Proposal to build a new stadium at RFK, bring the Commanders home, and revitalize the vacant and deteriorating RFK campus on July 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. This is a critical opportunity to tell the D.C. Council to approve the plan without delay!

What happens next?
Prior to the hearing on July 29, 2025, the Council’s Committee of the Whole will publish a witness list, which will be posted here. This will likely occur the day prior to the hearing (July 28, 2025). Find your name on the witness list. Witness will be called in panels of 3-5 (or more) individuals in the order they appear on the list.
Each witness will have 3 minutes to deliver a their testimony or statement. If you reduce your statement to writing, you should should email it to: cow@dccouncil.gov. It is not necessary to provide a written statement. You can still testify.
Can I testify virtually?
