a generation of memories are waiting to be made
Mayor Muriel Bowser’s RFK redevelopment proposal seeks to provide a new campus of civic pride, entertainment, and fun. Beyond bringing our team home (which, let’s admit, is going to be awesome!), the proposal would lead to major new investments in hotels, restaurants, and entertainment.
And let’s not forget, the planned $89 million indoor sportsplex designed to host year-round youth sports events and tournaments. This facility will provide amenities such as an Olympic-size indoor pool and an indoor track, offering local athletes access to high-quality training and competition venues within the city .
